Mary Anne Reeves passed away on August 24th 2022. She was born on July 6th 1942 to Agnes (Morelli) and Earl Wesley Clark in Philadelphia, PA.

Mary Anne was a long time school crossing guard for the Linwood, NJ school system. She enjoyed family, collecting antiques, playing cards, reading, old movies and westerns. In her younger days she enjoyed sports and played for the Chelsea Heights Mothers softball league in the 1960’s. She had a great sense of humor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her beloved husband Wallace “Bud” Reeves of 51 years. She is survived by her daughter Linda (Bryan) Glynn of Merritt Island, FL, her son Wallace (Jessie) of Galloway, NJ. Grandchildren Lauren Glynn of Merritt Island, FL, B. Paul Glynn-Melton (Justin) of Valdosta, GA., Katy Letourneau (Eric) of Cocoa, FL., Dylan Reeves of Absecon, NJ, Samantha Reeves of Oxford, PA., and Zachary Reeves of Galloway, NJ. Great grandchildren whom she cherished; Chloe and Carter Kaercher of Merritt Island, FL., and Winston and Kit Letourneau of Cocoa, FL..

My husband was an Army Veteran and they draped him with the American Flag as they were removing him from VITAS Hospice. We just had a wonderful experience at Island cremation with my father-in-law’s funeral. We had three meetings before the ceremony even started to make sure that everything was going to be done properly and that we’re all on the same page. Island cremation arranged for the Marines to come and do a flag honor ceremony that was an excellent touch and made the whole ceremony very memorable. The funeral home was very clean and they even had masks and hand sanitizer set out. They helped setting up our food plus supplied some of their own. Very professional and highly recommended.

I had a Celebration of Life for my husband on his birthday last Friday.

Island Cremations helped me plan for the Funeral. They have been like family. I even brought my husband’s miniature poodle.

Dillon, Mike & Dawn helped me set up and clean up. We brought in food and drinks. I had a soft jazz CD playing in the rooms. The alter had my husband’s Dolphin Urn and flowers. His picture with him holding a 52 pound Dolphin was on a projector screen above the alter.

Pastor Babington did a wonderful sermon. The family & friends spoke of memorial times.

We all thank you for your kindness and warmth for this Celebration of Life for my husband.
