Maureen Argen of Melbourne, FL passed away on August 1st, 2024, at the age of 61 after an abrupt battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Buffalo, NY on November 18th, 1962, and is preceded in death by her beloved first husband, Dean DeMarco Sr.; her dearest parents, Richard and Mabel Shanley; her brother, David (Michelle) Shanley; and her cherished family relatives and friends.

Maureen adored her family and friends and enjoyed spending any time she could with them. She was the true definition of the word selfless and was devoted to all of those she loved, making each person who touched her life feel special and cared about. She celebrated her family and friends any chance she had and was the first person to be by their sides if they ever needed her. She enjoyed life to the fullest and brought fun and laughter wherever she went. All who knew her were greatly impacted by her kind and caring spirit, her infectious smile and joy, and her incredible sense of humor.

Maureen leaves behind to cherish her memory: her devoted husband, Peter Argen, to whom she was married for 19 beautiful years; loving sons Dean DeMarco Jr. and Joshua (Jacqueline) DeMarco; admiring stepchildren Nicholas Argen and Amanda (Daniel) Forro; adoring grandchildren Shawn Maloney, Dean DeMarco III, Maximus DeMarco, Parker Forro, and Embry Forro; supportive brothers Richard (Kellie), Michael (Brenda), Mark (Joyce), Brian (Marybeth), Terry (Cheryl), Timothy (Tracy), Daniel, and Raymond (Michelle) Shanley; faithful sisters Carol (Roderick) Kerling, Kathleen (Daniel) DeMeester, and Marycolleen (Lawrence) Mott; many treasured nieces and nephews; and wonderful friends she considered family.
