Shane J. McDole passed away on December 20, 2020 at the age of 65 at his residence in Cape Canaveral Florida, after a battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his wife Ann and his parents James and Patricia McDole. He is survived by his daughter Rachel McDole, granddaughters Stevie and Sami, and siblings Christi (Mike)
Philo, Shawn (Wanda) McDole, Cindy (John) Borcherding, and Jim (Suzette) McDole.
Shane was a 1973 graduate of Eastwood High School and briefly attended Bowling Green State University. He grew up with many friends in Pemberville Ohio and was a career carpenter. He was fortunate to have lived and worked in Colorado, Nevada, Arizona, Indiana, Tennessee and Florida.
He easily made friends and will be sorely missed by many.
Shane sometimes lived and worked with his brother Jim who adds “No greater friend has a man been given than our brother Shane James McDole. He carried me through this dimension with the courage, dignity and humility reserved for Saints. We ran together, we worked together, played together, fought together, learned together and occasionally lived together. The highest podium of my mind is occupied by him, my friend, my brother and confidant…..Shane James McDole.”
