William “Bill” Whaley

William “Bill” Lee Whaley, 78, of Cocoa,Florida passed away August 30,2022 at ORMC surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Oak Ridge, TN to his late parents Ethel and Arnold Whaley. He was one of three and the youngest of the sibilings. He was a veteran, serving his time in the United States Air Force. He retired from Brevard County where he held his position of Engineering Inspector. Bill was a family man, he loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed playing his guitar, corn hole, watching Nascar, wrestling, football, and westerns. He loved Gospel and country music. Bill took great pride in working hard at anything he did. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Judy Whaley, his daughter Tracy Spizowski, son in law Brandon Spizowski, grand daughters Destiny Spizowski, and Chelsea Spizowski, and grandson Rylan Spizowski. There will be no services per his request as Bill never liked a “big fuss” over himself nor did want to burden anyone with grief. He was a very humble, generous, and kind man. He will truly be missed. He will be coming home to rest with his family where we can honor him everyday.
