Shari Ann Miller (née Stalvey) passed away peacefully on March 13, 2024 at 9:44pm at the age of 60. She was preceded in death by her older sister Carla ‘Cissy’ Stalvey. She is survived by her older brother Terry Rosenstengle.

Shari was born on September 14, 1963 in Cape Canaveral, FL. She graduated from Cocoa High School in 1981 and would continue to live as a Brevard County resident her whole life.

After graduating, she worked various positions including cashier at a TG&Y, line worker at a scallop processing facility, cruise crew member, bartender, bank teller, and custodian, before eventually working a long-term position as a receptionist for Florida Orthodontics where she helped to make beautiful smiles.

The thing that made her smile most though was her family. Shari married the love of her life, Jeffrey, in 1983. They later had a single son, Nicholas, in 1993 and the three of them shared countless precious memories together.

Shari thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially traveling and cruising with them. She also shared a passion for thrifting and bargain hunting with several beloved friends (often with the intent to purchase gifts for friends and family). Some of her most cherished moments however were those she spent with her only grandchild, Stella.

Shari was an incredibly kind and caring individual. She loved all beings, people and pets especially, and demonstrated that love daily. For around a decade, she even showed compassion and care for stray cats in her neighborhood that she would feed daily and capture, spay/neuter, and release in the hopes of ending the cycle of disease and hunger of strays in her community.

Her surviving husband, son, and granddaughter and countless friends and family will miss her dearly. A celebration of Shari’s life is being held at Coastal Community Church in Port Saint John on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 11:00 AM. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, Shari would love to be honored by donating to your local ASPCA, Humane Society, or simply by choosing adoption the next time you are looking to add a furry friend to your household.
