Randall Lee Burch (77) passed away peacefully at his home in Cape Canaveral, Florida surrounded by his family.

Randall, fondly known as Randy, was born to Ralph and Mary Frances (Chaney) Burch on August 28, 1946 in Lawton, Michigan. He grew up in Lansing, Michigan and graduated from Eastern High School in 1964. Randy was drafted into the US Army in 1966 and served in Vietnam until 1968. Randy graduated from Corpus Christi State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and passed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam in 1981.

He is survived by his wife and best friend of 47 years LeAnn Burch, four children Jennifer (Adam) Ryckman, Jessica (Edward) McCall, Andrew (Kristina) Burch, Aaron (Sara) Burch, and his seven grandchildren Zackery (Allison) Burch, Dillion (Koran) Burch, Wylie Ostrowski, Alicia Ostrowski (Austin Puckett), Allison Ryckman, Evan Burch, and Nathan Burch.

Randy and LeAnn lived in Williamston, Michigan for 17 years where all four of their children graduated from high school. They ran their own tax accounting business for 30 years, providing services in the Lansing, Michigan area prior to retiring in 2013.

Randy enjoyed season tickets to events at Michigan State University (MSU) including football, basketball, and musicals at Wharton Center. He was incredibly proud that all four of his children graduated from MSU. His love and passion for everything MSU included family tailgating and traveling to support MSU sports in Hawaii, California, and Indianapolis. He also enjoyed planning many family vacations, his walks on the beaches in Oscoda and Cocoa Beach collecting numerous seashells, and watching launches from Space-X.

He particularly enjoyed spending quality time with his family making memories that included cooking breakfast with his grandchildren, playing card games, hanging out at beach bonfires while watching fireworks, watching and supporting his children and grandchildren at their various events, and cheering on the Spartans. In his retirement, he belonged to the Space Coast Spartans in Florida, where the group would meet up to cheer on MSU sports at local establishments.

He will be remembered most as a kind and generous man who was always quick with a smile. He was a very devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He loved and cherished his family, and we are blessed that he was ours.

The family would like to thank everyone who has reached out through phone calls, cards, texts, e-mails, hugs, and check-ins. We appreciate the kindness through this difficult time.
A private service for immediate family only will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers or any other gifts, LeAnn has requested that donations be made to Health First Hospice of Brevard County or any other hospice organization in your local area in memory of Randy Burch.
