Paul Sorg Reinecke, III of Indialantic passed away at home peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, December 6, 2024 . He was born on March 28, 1943 to Paul Sorg Reinecke Jr. and Ann Scott Reinecke. He appreciated the opportunities he had to live in several different states as well as Japan and France as the son of a career military officer. He graduated from The Citadel with a degree in chemistry and earned a MBA from Emory University. After completing his education, he married Joy Goolsby and they moved to Fort Carson, Colorado where he served 2 years in the Army Artillery. A job offer from Radiation brought him to Melbourne, FL in 1969. He loved the challenge of helping to develop new technologies in the semiconductor industry. He retired from Intersil in 2009. Paul was a member of First Baptist Church of Indialantic serving in many positions over the years. He loved his family. He was so proud of each of them. Paul’s love of the outdoors, fishing and boating led to lots of special outings and experiences with his family. He is survived by his wife, Joy, sister Ann Sullivan (Pete), brother Karl Lawrence Reinecke (Lisa) and his sons Kevin Scott Reinecke (Jennifer) and Paul Darren Reinecke (Amy). He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Emma Rose Reinecke, Elena Joy Reinecke, Daniel Scott Reinecke and Cypress Ann Reinecke.
