Obituary

Nicholas Arthur LaSpina Sr. was born on December 16, 1958 in Montclair, New Jersey to Eugene and Marilyn LaSpina. He departed this life on Saturday, February 27, 2016 in his home in Merritt Island unexpectadly due to natural causes. Nicholas attended Eau Gallie High School in Melbourne, Florida. He married his wonderful wife, Gina DeSantis on February 21, 1988. He started with Buddy Vickers at Jimmie Vickers Jeep which began his career in the car selling industry which he continued throughout his life; and ended at Space Coast Honda. He was a loving husband to his bride, as well as a loving father to his three children and all the children who entered his home that called him their second dad. He was known as “Big Nick.” His friends were family and he showed that everytime he was with them. Throughout his life, he has been supportive of his children and not meaning just his own. He loved being involved with the community and their families.  He loved being at the softball field supporting his daughters and their many teammates throughout the years. He always had a smile on his face and always a good joke. His laughter was contagious. He is survived by his Bride Gina, his three children Nicholas Jr., Alicia, and Talia, his mother Marilyn, his brother John (Liz), his sisters Christine (Doug) and Cindy (Bruce), mother in-law Sally, Brother in-law Larry(Jackie) and a host of nieces and nephews as well as many friends. Your contagious smile and laughter will never be forgotten. You have touched each and every one of our lives with love and God
