Margaret E. White

June 9, 1937 to May 20, 2015

Maggie White passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family members and friends who loved her dearly on May 20^th.

Momma Mia was adored by her family and friends far and wide! She is survived by her husband Donald B. White (married 57 years), her daughter Kim O’Connell and her husband Kevin O’Connell of Hudson MA along with grandchildren Sean, Patrick and Mike, her daughter Sue Casaceli and husband David Casaceli of Bolton MA along with grandchildren Brian and Lauren Casaceli, her daughter Leslie White of Phoenix AZ and finally her son Dr. Donald White of Phoenix AZ and wife Heather and grandson Maximillian. Maggie grew up on a farm in Glassville New Brunswick Canada – went to a one room school house and followed her dream to one day be a teacher. Teaching was her love and passion! Being in the classroom is what she enjoyed most! The year she retired from teaching in Hudson MA she was honored to receive the Teacher of the Year award which she took such delight in! She taught in North Bay Ontario, Halifax Nova Scotia, Baggettville Quebec, Chatham New Brunswick, Saint John New Brunswick and Hudson MA. In 1970 she and her husband moved to the United States and lived many years in Marlborough MA until retiring to Melbourne FL where she resided the last 17 years. Her passions included baking, planting and maintaining her flowers, vacationing in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and spending time with her family. Margaret attended St. Paul’s Methodist Church in Melbourne Florida where a memorial service will be held on Sunday May 24^th at 12:30 PM which is located at 1591 Highland Ave, Melbourne FL 32935. In addition, a Celebration of Life Service will be held at the First Congregation Church in Marlboro at a later date.
