It is with the heaviest of heart that we announce the passing of Linda Frost, aged 80, of Cocoa FL.
Linda bravely and with characteric grace battled leukemia and diabetes, along with multiple other medical maladies. With her two eldest children by her side, on Oct 28, 2023 at 12:45am she peacefully slipped from this earth.
As much as she fought to not leave her family, she dreamed of the time that the love of her life would once again wrap her hand in his escorting her those loved ones gone too early.

Linda was born on Oct 1943 in Salters Path NC.

Preferring marriage over graduating Valedictorian,
without hesitation she married James (Jimmy) F.
Frost.
Despite the low wage of $43 a week as a finish carpenter, together they would have 4 children that were aware of only being loved by parents committed to God, family, and to each other.
We watched our daddy go back to work barely 2 weeks after enduring major back surgery. The man was as strong as his work ethic and massive build. His love and drive to provide for us proved to be bigger. That’s why we called him Superman.
There were many times our folks would both be at the scallop plant long days straight. Our parents were willing to sacrifice for the sake of our hearts and health.
They were married 42 years when dad passed
and we learned that Ma had broken her back taking care of him. She never complained, resented, or considered outside arrangements. Before her body and broken heart were healed
Ma became a surrogate mother to her grandchildren. Unbeknownst to the 2, Mema needed them just as much, probably more.
She was so proud of the adults they have become.
Years later, it would be under her granddaughters roof, that was her home, allowed us to become her caregivers, an act of reciprocation for everything she’s done for us.
Perhaps the best word to describe our Ma would be “dedicated.” Long before she would dedicate herself to her family and friends, she dedicated her soul to Christ at the tender age of 7. She never dared to question her faith, despite financial despair, loss of loved ones, or even the debilitating pain she endured the final years of her life with us.
She felt that her pain was insignificant compared to what her Lord and Savior had endured while hanging on that cross.
Following His example, she insisted on forgiveness to others and unconditional love for those in her life.
A few years back, Ma had an experience that she described as bringing her face to face with her Savior. She told the story of how she had begged Him for more time with her family. This was allowed on the condition of her telling everyone that He is indeed, absolutely real. Of course, she honored that condition and we are grateful for the extra time to love her and tend to her daily needs as she had always done for us.
Linda has joined her beloved parents Duffy and Vonda Willis, and loving husband James Frost, as well as her cherished sister in law Gloria Mae Willis, brother in law Sharon and daughter in law Leona.
She leaves a lifetime of faith and love to be honored by four children; Frank of Cocoa FL, Lisa (Brandy) of Rockledge FL, John (Darla) of Merritt Island FL, Amy (Tim) of Merritt Island FL.
Two grandchildren; Chelsie of Cocoa FL, Shane (Christina) of Orlando Fl
3 great grandchildren; KJ, Nyasia, and Trenton
5 siblings; Mike of Sarasota FL, Lettie of Salters Path NC, CD (Gail) of Sarasota FL, Minnie (Robert) of Cocoa FL and Rhonda of Merritt Island FL
Also eleven nieces and nephews.

We will never stop loving or missing you.
