Linda Ellen Dyson (Timperley), of Indialantic, FL, passed away peacefully after her battle with Alzheimer’s, on January 26, 2023, two weeks prior to her 82nd birthday at Hibiscus Court Assisted Living in Melbourne, FL, with loving family at her side. She was the beloved wife of Harry Dyson, Jr., they celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on October 3, 2022.
A native Rhode Islander who grew up in Central Falls and later moved to Cumberland where she built her family and circle of friends. Linda was an avid boater who enjoyed cruising with Harry and her beloved dog Rosie. They could be found cruising up and down the east coast for more than 40 years. Ask her favorite harbor and she’d tell you that Block Island and Nantucket both held a special place in her heart.
Besides her husband, Linda is survived by their two children Susan Dyson Breen and husband Michael Breen, Lisa Dyson Benoit and husband Robert Benoit and her four grandchildren, Becky Breen Barrazueta, Danielle Benoit, Lauren Benoit Romeiro and Meghan Breen, and one great granddaughter Hunter Romeiro.
A memorial service honoring her life is planned for Friday, February 3rd at 2:00pm at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Melbourne, FL. Details can be found on islandcremations.com website.
