LEONARD PALLAY SR.

“Lenny” was born November 06, 1956 in New York to Helen and Julius Pallay (who predeceased him).

Lenny attended public school in New York. His first born child is Lauren Sammatarro of New York.

In 1990 Leonard moved to Florida after his parents moved to Port Canaveral, Florida. Lenny later met and dated Lori Davis and they united in marriage on February 28, 1991 and this union was blessed with four children; Leonard Jr., Christopher, Lisa and Jason Pallay.

Leonard was a stay home Dad for mostly 13 years. He did work various jobs ( Taco Bell, Security Guard and Walmart) in Brevard County.

He leaves to cherish his memories: wife Lorie Pallay of Cocoa, FL and Five loving Children: Lauren Sammataro, Manhattan, New York; Leonard (Stephanie) Pallay Jr. of Cape Canaveral, Fl.; Christopher, Lisa, Jason Pallay of New York; a host of niece, nephews, relatives and sorrowing friends. We will truly miss you Dad!!

I dealt with Paul the owner he was very helpful. He assisted in the forms and contacted a few people to help with my fathers passing. They are all very compassionate and caring. It is a nice atmosphere and very professional in how they run the business. They did not try to push me towards anything or any package. Paul was very professional and comforting in explaining the details of what was needed. Mike was very caring when they took my Husband out of VITAS Hospice. My husband was an Army Veteran and they draped him with the American Flag as they were removing him from VITAS Hospice. Paul helped me schedule the funeral at the VA cemetery as it was out of State and helped me with filling a necklace so my husband will always be with me. We just had a wonderful experience at Island cremation with my father-in-law’s funeral. We had three meetings before the ceremony even started to make sure that everything was going to be done properly and that we’re all on the same page. Island cremation arranged for the Marines to come and do a flag honor ceremony that was an excellent touch and made the whole ceremony very memorable. The funeral home was very clean and they even had masks and hand sanitizer set out. They helped setting up our food plus supplied some of their own. Very professional and highly recommended.

I had a Celebration of Life for my husband on his birthday last Friday.

Island Cremations helped me plan for the Funeral. They have been like family. I even brought my husband’s miniature poodle.

Dillon, Mike & Dawn helped me set up and clean up. We brought in food and drinks. I had a soft jazz CD playing in the rooms. The alter had my husband’s Dolphin Urn and flowers. His picture with him holding a 52 pound Dolphin was on a projector screen above the alter.

Pastor Babington did a wonderful sermon. The family & friends spoke of memorial times.

We all thank you for your kindness and warmth for this Celebration of Life for my husband.
