Kevin A. Little

Merritt Island, FL – Kevin A. Little 57, of Merritt Island, Florida passed away at 2:17am Tuesday, October 23, 2018. Kevin was born January 11, 1961 in Kokomo to Charles and RoseMarie Little. Kevin was in a long-term relationship with Karen Vitale at the time of his passing. He was a 1979 graduate of Western High School in Russiaville, Indiana and a 1988 graduate of Brevard Community College in Florida where he received a degree in HVAC. Kevin has worked as a mechanic, security guard and HVAC technician during his time in Florida. He was a remote control car enthusiast and a long time fan of the band Megadeth.

Survivors include his mother, Rose Marie Little of Palm Bay, FL.; two sisters both of Kokomo: Sharon (Little) Carter & Janet (Little) Crail: brother, Greg (Alice) Little of Plymouth, OH; and four nieces and nephews: Summer (Paul) Langston, T. Dean Crail, Tori Crail & Nick Crail.

He was preceded in death by his father Charles L. Little in 1990.

Private services will be held by the family in Palm Bay Florida.

My husband was an Army Veteran and they draped him with the American Flag as they were removing him from VITAS Hospice. We had three meetings before the ceremony even started to make sure that everything was going to be done properly and that we’re all on the same page. Island cremation arranged for the Marines to come and do a flag honor ceremony that was an excellent touch and made the whole ceremony very memorable. The funeral home was very clean and they even had masks and hand sanitizer set out. They helped setting up our food plus supplied some of their own. Very professional and highly recommended.

I had a Celebration of Life for my husband on his birthday last Friday.

Island Cremations helped me plan for the Funeral. They have been like family. I even brought my husband’s miniature poodle.

Dillon, Mike & Dawn helped me set up and clean up. We brought in food and drinks. I had a soft jazz CD playing in the rooms. The alter had my husband’s Dolphin Urn and flowers. His picture with him holding a 52 pound Dolphin was on a projector screen above the alter.

Pastor Babington did a wonderful sermon. The family & friends spoke of memorial times.

We all thank you for your kindness and warmth for this Celebration of Life for my husband.
