John Charles Allen of Cocoa Florida passed away on Saturday March 12th 2016. He was born in Lorain Ohio on May 21, 1963. He is preceded by his father Maurice Allen and survived by his mother Doris Allen.
John took pride in his work as Director of Operations at Hilton Grand Vacations Club.  He was an avid volunteer with boy scouts as well as a devoted volunteer with the Cocoa High band.  John enjoyed hosting parties where he was known as the “Grill Master”, going to concerts, camping, and any time he could spend with family.
John is survived by his five children, Brooke Allen, Chyanne Allen, Rose Allen, John Matthew Allen, and Lee Allen.  His granddaughter Kylah Justice.  Siblings Kathleen Williams, Kimberly Allen, and Pamela Allen, as well as many aunts, uncles, neices, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial donations be made to Hospice of St. Francis in John’s name.  A mass will be held on Wednesday March 16, 2016 at 4:00 pm at Devine Mercy Catholic Church in Merritt Island which will be immediately followed by a Celebration of Life at the Cocoa Civic Center in Cocoa Village.
