Joanne Sylvia Tinsdale Moore, age 85, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 7 May 2019 at Rockledge Regional Medical Center in Rockledge, Florida. She was born 4 November 1933 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada to Maurice Lorne Tinsdale and Alice Marjorie Motson. She received her AA Degree from Brevard Community College and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Central Florida while in her 40’s, following the example of three of her children in obtaining a higher education. She married Robert Paul Moore for the first time on 13 March 1954 and for the second time on 31 January 1989. He was her only husband. Together they raised 7 children and helped raise 2 of her grandchildren. She spent her life as a homemaker, devoting her life to her spouse, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was instrumental in the lives of many people through her volunteer efforts when younger and through her service to her church throughout her life. She is survived by her children, Fonda Harmon of Port St. John, Florida; Jeff Moore of Indianapolis, Indiana; Sean Moore of Cocoa, Florida; Corey Moore of Beaumont, California; Renate Moore of Merritt Island, Florida; Jaimie Moore of Indialantic, Florida; and Shannon Moore of Chattanooga, Tennessee. She has 10 grandchildren; Lorne Moore, Sabrina Moore, Robert Harmon, Jeremy Moore, Jimmy Farrelly, Dorsey Moore, Jacob Moore, Robby Moore, Stephen Moore and Emily Moore. She has 2 nephews and 6 great-grandchildren. Family, friends and others whose lives Joanne touched are invited to share in a celebration of her life at the CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS LOCATED AT 1801 FISKE BLVD in Rockledge, Florida. We will be welcoming friends, family and others beginning at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, 14 MAY 2019. The Service and celebration of her life will begin at 10:00 AM. There will be a reception/luncheon following the service. Interment will follow at 1:00 PM at Florida Memorial Gardens. Interested persons are invited to the interment as well.
