Eric (Ric) Richard Gedda, 68, passed away in Palm Bay Florida on March 21, 2024.
He was surrounded by his loving Daughter, Sarah Finney, her husband, Chris. Along with their three Daughters, Ariel Aparicio, Ava Finney, Amelia Finney.
Ric was born in California on June 3rd, 1955 to his parents, Harlene Feaster and Richard Gedda. He is proceeded in death by his son, Matthew Gedda, his parents, his sisters, Karen Manley and Jeri Gault, brother, Brian McMullen.
He is survived by youngest brother, Jeffrey McMullen of Las Vegas, Nevada.
They moved to Indianapolis in 1970 where Ric attended Decatur Central and graduated in 1973.
He joined the navy and was a Chief Petty Officer.
He married Marissa Lane Kemp in 1980 and became a step dad to Rachel and Eric Cahill. Two children were also born to this union, Sarah and Matthew Gedda. He was a musician for over 20 years and played lead guitar in several country bands in Indianapolis. He was a proud member of the ‘American honky-tonk Association’.
He later moved to Tennessee and opened a small engine repair shop.
He retired and moved to Florida to be with his family in 2015.
He had allot of great years to see and enjoy his granddaughters grow into beautiful young ladies.
He will be laid to rest in June beside his son, Matthew, at White Lick cemetery in Mooresville Indiana.
