Eloise Kitchin Walton, 74, of Cocoa Beach, FL, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 14, 1949, to the late Jack Frank Kitchin and Wilma Hales Kitchin. Eloise was raised in Chesapeake, VA and married to the late James Wilson Walton of Danville, VA for 45 years.
She is survived by her two sons, James Brett Walton and Christopher Shannon Walton and his wife Haley of Boone, NC; one granddaughter, Peyton Elyse Walton of Boone, NC.
She is also survived by her sister Malinda Boren of Banner Elk, NC and two brothers Jack Kitchin and his wife Phyllis of Currituck, NC and Paul Kitchin and his wife Geri of Cocoa Beach, FL. She was also a much-loved aunt to many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Eloise was a 1967 graduate of Douglas MacArthur Academy in Norfolk, VA and a graduate of Averett College. She retired from the Brevard County Supervisor of Elections in Florida. She was always happiest at the beach and spending time with family and friends. Eloise particularly loved the “forced family fun” events she organized.
