A Celebration of Life Memorial will take place on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 11:00 am at Life Oasis Church, 1441 N. Harbor City Blvd. Melbourne, FL 32935. Interment will be at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery on June 20^th, 2019 at 3pm.

Donn R. Estus, 75, left this earth surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, June 12, 2019. in Melbourne, FL. He was born on March 23,1944 to Melvin and Ethel Estus who preceded him in death. He grew up in the Denver, CO area before moving to California as a young man. He served honorably in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He married his wife of 51 years, Patricia, in 1968 and they moved to Indian Harbour Beach, FL in 1985. He owned and operated DataLink Ready and HullSpeed Data Products Manufacturing in Melbourne.

Donn is survived by Patricia, their son Ty and his wife Ashley and granddaughters Sarah and JoJo. He is also survived by his sister, Patsey Hustede, father-in-law, Richard Schneider, Sr, sister-in-law, Allison Gulledge (Tracey), brother-in-law, Andrew Schneider (Jeanne) as well as 7 nieces and nephews and 4 great nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Jeannette Schneider and brother-in-law, Richard Schneider, Jr.

We had three meetings before the ceremony even started to make sure that everything was going to be done properly and that we’re all on the same page. Island cremation arranged for the Marines to come and do a flag honor ceremony that was an excellent touch and made the whole ceremony very memorable. The funeral home was very clean and they even had masks and hand sanitizer set out. They helped setting up our food plus supplied some of their own. Very professional and highly recommended.

I had a Celebration of Life for my husband on his birthday last Friday.

Island Cremations helped me plan for the Funeral. They have been like family. I even brought my husband’s miniature poodle.

Dillon, Mike & Dawn helped me set up and clean up. We brought in food and drinks. I had a soft jazz CD playing in the rooms. The alter had my husband’s Dolphin Urn and flowers. His picture with him holding a 52 pound Dolphin was on a projector screen above the alter.

Pastor Babington did a wonderful sermon. The family & friends spoke of memorial times.

We all thank you for your kindness and warmth for this Celebration of Life for my husband.
