My family sends it deepest sympathy to the Sands family. Debbie and I were class mates, and many times shared laughs at the football games, and at the bowling alley. It was because of her, I have 3 rescued pets. Debbie you'll be missed, but never forgotten. R I P my friend.

so sorry to hear of her passing. we grew up on Mt. Tom Road in Marietta together about 1/2 mile away form each other. She, Scott and i used to walk the road in the evenings. So, So sorry to her daughter.

Shannon, this hurts me also. I don't have my pet loving friend anymore. She touched my heart and I was one that always loved her unconditionally as she loved me. I will always have great memories of her. She was my rock outside my family that I know I can't replace. Prayers for you and know I'm here if you need

My husband was an Army Veteran and they draped him with the American Flag as they were removing him from VITAS Hospice. We just had a wonderful experience at Island cremation with my father-in-law’s funeral. We had three meetings before the ceremony even started to make sure that everything was going to be done properly and that we’re all on the same page. Island cremation arranged for the Marines to come and do a flag honor ceremony that was an excellent touch and made the whole ceremony very memorable. The funeral home was very clean and they even had masks and hand sanitizer set out. They helped setting up our food plus supplied some of their own. Very professional and highly recommended.

I had a Celebration of Life for my husband on his birthday last Friday.

Island Cremations helped me plan for the Funeral. They have been like family. I even brought my husband’s miniature poodle.

Dillon, Mike & Dawn helped me set up and clean up. We brought in food and drinks. I had a soft jazz CD playing in the rooms. The alter had my husband’s Dolphin Urn and flowers. His picture with him holding a 52 pound Dolphin was on a projector screen above the alter.

Pastor Babington did a wonderful sermon. The family & friends spoke of memorial times.

We all thank you for your kindness and warmth for this Celebration of Life for my husband.
