David “DJ” Michael Cantwell, Jr., son of David Cantwell, Sr., and Kelly Palmer, unexpectedly
passed away at his home in Melbourne, Florida, on Monday September 13, 2021, at age 40.
Born in Dover, New Hampshire, on May 31, 1981, he moved with his family in 1985 to Vero
Beach, Florida. After graduating from Vero Beach High School, class of 1999, he served our
country as a jet engine mechanic in the United States Air Force. Most recently he lived in
Melbourne with his girlfriend and children and worked as Owner/Operator of Atlantic Mower in
Palm Shores, Florida.
His sudden departure leaves a great void in the hearts of his surviving family members,
including his two beautiful daughters, Tatiana Cantwell (14) and Natalya Cantwell (13), who
were the center of his world. He also leaves behind: parents Dave Cantwell and Kelly Palmer,
birth mother Brenda Hale-Fiorito, step-parents Julie Cantwell and Troy Palmer, girlfriend Karrie
Krell, honorary son Tyler Krell(13), sisters Nichole Nyman and Katie Marleau, brother
Christopher Cantwell, step-siblings Kevin O’Dell, Amber Engen, Adam Palmer, Aaron Palmer,
Noah Palmer, half-siblings Nico Fiorito and Alex Fiorito, grandfather Edward Cantwell, and many
loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
