Craig S. Karrer, 83, passed peacefully at Weusthoff Hospital, Merritt Island, on Thursday, November 6 2014. Craig was born August 2, 1931 in Egg Harbor, NJ until moving to Merritt Island in 1961 with his wife, Regina and four children. Craig built and established Camelot Inn, El Nido Lounge, and K-Kraft Cabinets, where he enjoyed many years of successful business.

Craig, a Veteran of the Military, served in the Navy aboard the USS Antietam where he served during the Korean War. Craig and Regina enjoyed many years of traveling; their favorite trips were RV trips taken around the U.S. and Canada, taking a cruise around the world, and seeing their family any chance they could. Craig lived a full life, enjoying the people and things that he loved most and he will be missed dearly.

Craig is survived by his wife of 60 years, Regina; daughter, Leeann Fiegle (Chuck) of Merritt Island; son-in-law, Richard Gaydos; daughter-in-law, Lisa Karrer, both of Merritt Island; his loving grandchildren, Chris Fiegle (Kristy) of Honolulu, HI, Sarah Etheridge (Joshua) of Macon, GA, Amber Oliver (Larry) of Sumter, SC , Phillip Fiegle of Lafayette, LA, Aaron Karrer of TX, Elizabeth Fiegle of Jackson, MS, Lauren Fiegle of Clinton, MS, and eight beautiful great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by daughters, Linda Karrer and Regina Gaydos, and son, Craig S. Karrer Jr.

Funeral service at will be held at Island Cremations, 405 S. Courtenay Pkwy, Merritt Island, FL at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2014.
