Clair Richard (Dick)Yost, age 88, passed away March 2, 2020 in Merritt Island, FL. He was born on May 25 1931 in Mifflinburg, PA., graduated from Lewisburg, PA High School in 1949 and serve in the US Army during the Korean War. He worked for Philco Manufacturing Industries in Milton, PA until the plant closed in 1976 and later was hired as an industrial engineer by Curtis Mathes TV Mfg Co. in Athens Texas. There he met and soon married Ileana and became a most wonderful father and example to her 4 years old boy, Federico, whom he taught to hunt and fish.  In 1981 he was hired as an industrial engineer by ELKO Mfg Co which was located in Huntington, PA. He moved the family to that beautiful town in the Allegheny mountains of PA where he became a member of the Huntington Golf and Country Club and was able to pursue his passion for golf and fishing. The family moved in 1985 to New Cumberland, Pa where Richard worked for the US Army Depot, DDRE.  He retired from that job in May 1993 and on December 1999 the family moved to Titusville, FL. There he made great friendships with others who shared his love for golf and fishing. He was a life member of the Elks, The American Legion and the VFW.

He lived his final years in Merritt Island FL with his son Federico (Fed) and family.

He loved his family and was dearly loved by his grandchildren, Bayley, Brooke, Feddy and Lily with whom he shared beautiful memories of unforgettable playing times and family vacations.

Richard is survived by wife Ileana, daughter Teresa, who presently resides in Colorado, step son Federico Calderon, step daughter Brenda Corley, sister Kay Burger, nephew Robby Burger, nephew John Yost, niece Karen Yost, their children and loving relatives.
