Charles Harris Cooley II was born in Hartford, CT and passed away quietly on December 20, 2021 at home in Port St. John, FL at 9:00 a.m. surrounded by some of his family. Charles grew up in Connecticut and was known as Chuck to his friends. He worked at Pratt and Whitney for many years and served as a cook in the Coast Guard.

He married the love of his life Andrea Ruth Brodersen on August 29, 1964 and had three children and took in two nieces and raised them as well. Chuck’s passions in life were his family, motorcycles, cars, boats and making and/or building things and doing art. The last few years of his life he was surrounded by some of his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and his dog Taco. One of his favorite activities was working on art in his room.

Chuck is predeceased by his wife Andrea; father, Arthur Cooley; mother, Dorothy Lindquist Cooley and siblings Lorraine Hargrave, Virginia Austin, Philip Cooley, Douglas Cooley and Sharon Cooley. He is survived by his son, Charles H Cooley III; daughter, Tara Leonetti and her husband, John and grandchildren, Hannah and Joshua; daughter, Lida Pinkham and her husband, Carl; daughter, Lorraine Daigle and her husband, Jason and grandson Caleb; and daughter, Kelly Payton and grandchildren, Kalii (great-grandsons TJ, Charles, and Kamari), Whitney and Michaela; and his nieces and nephews, Beth Granger, Kenny Austin, David Collins and Elizabeth Dan as well as some cousins.
