Charles Edward Smith III, born on 8/13/1973, was taken to his heavenly home on 4/18/19. Charlie was a native Floridian, born and raised in Brevard County, Florida. As a result, he loved the beach, fishing, four wheeling, going camping, gardening, and spending time outdoors. He was musically gifted, composing and writing rock music, playing all the instruments himself. He enjoyed drawing, painting, and making incredible tie dyes. He was a natural born leader, learning every phase of construction and running his own crew. He was often referred to in construction as having an “eagle eye”.  Charlie was a courageous, outspoken, influential-idealist who loved to socialize with anyone he came across. He mastered everything he was compassionate about. He also had dreams of mentoring to troubled teens and his ultimate goal was having a foster home to help homeless teenagers.

Charlie’s greatest accomplishment, his pride and joy, is his only child, 15 month old Charles Edward Smith IV. He also leaves behind his long time love, Danielle Kohl. Charlie is survived by his mother Linda Smith, his brother Stephen Smith, his nephews Stephen II and Charles, nieces, Destinie, Arael, Cassandra and Kaylee. He has joined his dad Charles Smith, his brother Todd, and his foster dad Robert Farr who preceded him to heaven.

Charlie we love you and miss you.  We look forward to seeing you when we reach our heavenly home.  We’re so glad that you are no longer in pain and finally enjoying your life.
