Spicer, Carol F (Nolan) of Cape Canaveral, FL, formerly of Newtonville and Brockton, Ma. entered into eternal peace on March 14,2019. Carol has rejoined her late husband Keith Spicer, her parents, Capt. Robert A and Adelaide C. Nolan and brother James. Survived by Carol are her children, Andrew of Cocoa, Fl, Cristina, Deborah and Michael of Cape Canaveral, FL., and Abigail of Roslindale,Ma. She also leaves 3 grandsons and a granddaughter, and her seven brothers and sisters, John, Mary, Robert, Patricia, Michael, Peggy, and twin Claire.

Carol was a graduate of Newton North High School class of 1980. She spent most of her life in the customer service industry, with her last employment being at Victory Casino in Cape Canaveral, FL..

Arrangements are at Island Cremations, Merritt Island, FL., Thursday March 21, from 2pm till 5pm. Internment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Waltham, MA. In place of flowers donations can be made to any HIV/AIDS organization or substance abuse organization

I dealt with Paul the owner he was very helpful. He assisted in the forms and contacted a few people to help with my fathers passing. They are all very compassionate and caring. It is a nice atmosphere and very professional in how they run the business. They did not try to push me towards anything or any package. My husband was an Army Veteran and they draped him with the American Flag as they were removing him from VITAS Hospice. We just had a wonderful experience at Island cremation with my father-in-law’s funeral. We had three meetings before the ceremony even started to make sure that everything was going to be done properly and that we’re all on the same page. Island cremation arranged for the Marines to come and do a flag honor ceremony that was an excellent touch and made the whole ceremony very memorable. The funeral home was very clean and they even had masks and hand sanitizer set out. They helped setting up our food plus supplied some of their own. Very professional and highly recommended.

I had a Celebration of Life for my husband on his birthday last Friday.

Island Cremations helped me plan for the Funeral. They have been like family. I even brought my husband’s miniature poodle.

Dillon, Mike & Dawn helped me set up and clean up. We brought in food and drinks. I had a soft jazz CD playing in the rooms. The alter had my husband’s Dolphin Urn and flowers. His picture with him holding a 52 pound Dolphin was on a projector screen above the alter.

Pastor Babington did a wonderful sermon. The family & friends spoke of memorial times.

We all thank you for your kindness and warmth for this Celebration of Life for my husband.
