Our brother grew up in Roslindale ,Ma. with our grandmother and grandfather Eva Santiago and Juan Santiago whom he called Mami and Pa

While our mom and dad worked; he lived with our grandparent since it was quite a distance to go back and forth.

He was raised around our aunts and uncles – Johnny, Angie, Manny, Juana, Isa, Lucy, Nilda, Martha, Norma, and Chuito proving it takes a village to raise a child.

There is a part of everyone of who helped raise him be the person he became.

He was a Strong , kind, Generous, Loving and most of all a giving spirit. Hard worker always taking care of his family.

His most precious Gift of Love by God is his Wife and Children they were the light that shines in his eyes and the beat of his heart.

He enjoyed Music and going dancing with his wife. He moved to Melbourne Florida in 1980 where he resided with his family

As he got ill his wife dedicated all her time loving and caring for him until his passing.

You are missed more than you know Brother you are always in our hearts We love you always and forever.

God saw he was getting tired and a cure was not to be.

So he put his arms around him, And whispered, come with me.

Although we loved him dearly, We could not make him stay.

A Golden heart Stopped beating ,this day.

Hard working hands to rest, God broke our hearts to let us know he only take the best.

I dealt with Paul the owner he was very helpful. He assisted in the forms and contacted a few people to help with my fathers passing. They are all very compassionate and caring. It is a nice atmosphere and very professional in how they run the business. They did not try to push me towards anything or any package. Paul was very professional and comforting in explaining the details of what was needed. Mike was very caring when they took my Husband out of VITAS Hospice. My husband was an Army Veteran and they draped him with the American Flag as they were removing him from VITAS Hospice. We just had a wonderful experience at Island cremation with my father-in-law’s funeral. We had three meetings before the ceremony even started to make sure that everything was going to be done properly and that we’re all on the same page. Island cremation arranged for the Marines to come and do a flag honor ceremony that was an excellent touch and made the whole ceremony very memorable. The funeral home was very clean and they even had masks and hand sanitizer set out. They helped setting up our food plus supplied some of their own. Very professional and highly recommended.

At one of the most devastating times in my life, I contacted Island Cremations, Merritt Island, FL. My husband who was never sick was diagnosed with cancer. There was no hope for him. I had a Celebration of Life for my husband on his birthday last Friday.

Island Cremations helped me plan for the Funeral. They have been like family. I even brought my husband’s miniature poodle.

Dillon, Mike & Dawn helped me set up and clean up. We brought in food and drinks. I had a soft jazz CD playing in the rooms. The alter had my husband’s Dolphin Urn and flowers. His picture with him holding a 52 pound Dolphin was on a projector screen above the alter.

Pastor Babington did a wonderful sermon. The family & friends spoke of memorial times.

We all thank you for your kindness and warmth for this Celebration of Life for my husband.
