Brian Francis English

July 23, 1970 to March 7, 2019

Brian Francis English finally rested his weary body on March 7, 2019 at Wuesthoff Hospice, Rockledge, Florida

He fought a great fight. Brian was born in Boston July 1970. He was diagnosed with a non malignant brain

tumor May 1982. He survived a very long time through operations, strokes, but he just could not fight any

longer. Brian is survived by his Mother and Step Father, Mary and James Nagle of Viera, Fl. His Father,

Francis X English of Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts and his brother Paul English his wife Laurie Birmingham-

English and their daughter Katlyn English all of Holbrook Massachusetts. There are also many Aunts, Uncles

and cousins who love Brian.

Bri attended schools in Milford, Hull and Scituate, Massachusetts. He was known by many people and

appreciated for his laughter, friendship and a deep love of all. He loved everything Snoopy, The Stones,

N E Patriots and Boston Red Sox.

He had worked at John Hancock in Boston and at Patrick Air Force Base, Florida. Brian was a volunteer

for six years at the Brevard Zoo, he loved his giraffes. Brian was a member of the Knights of Columbus

in Scituate, Massachusetts and Rockledge, Florida.

He Did Well and was Loved by Many

A viewing will be held at St John Evangelist Church, Stadium Parkway, Viera Florida from 10 to 11

on Wednesday March 13, 2019 followed by a Mass at 11:00.

Brian will be cremated and interred this summer in Hull, Massachusetts.

We had three meetings before the ceremony even started to make sure that everything was going to be done properly and that we’re all on the same page. Island cremation arranged for the Marines to come and do a flag honor ceremony that was an excellent touch and made the whole ceremony very memorable. The funeral home was very clean and they even had masks and hand sanitizer set out. They helped setting up our food plus supplied some of their own. Very professional and highly recommended.

I had a Celebration of Life for my husband on his birthday last Friday.

Island Cremations helped me plan for the Funeral. They have been like family. I even brought my husband’s miniature poodle.

Dillon, Mike & Dawn helped me set up and clean up. We brought in food and drinks. I had a soft jazz CD playing in the rooms. The alter had my husband’s Dolphin Urn and flowers. His picture with him holding a 52 pound Dolphin was on a projector screen above the alter.

Pastor Babington did a wonderful sermon. The family & friends spoke of memorial times.

We all thank you for your kindness and warmth for this Celebration of Life for my husband.
