Bina Priest peacefully passed on to Jesus May 4, 2017, while in a local hospital. Her new life began after a valiant 5 month battle with multiable infections. Bina was born Sept. 22, 1957 on the island of Ebeye in the Marshall Islands. She was predecesed by her parents Otiba Jibbwa and Edison Livai, and several sisters and brothers. She leaves behind her husband Roger (married in 1995) and son Joey Aiseia (Jacqueline), and grandkids Robi D.L. Aiseia & Pierra Actelline (Aki) Aiseia, and a large extended family. Bina was proud and much admired by friends and family when she became an American citizen on Nov. 5, 2013. As much as her health and time would permit she was a very active member of the Marshallese branch of the Assembiles of God (River of Life) Church. Bina will be remembered as a loveing grandmother to the kids who called her Bubu. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, travel, Bingo, and the Slots, but mostly she was a very dedicated wife. There will be a memorial service followed by a celabration of life at the Assemblies of God church, 1890 N.Courteney Blvd. Merritt Island, FL. on May 21, 2017, at 3:00 pm, please no island time.

My husband was an Army Veteran and they draped him with the American Flag as they were removing him from VITAS Hospice. We just had a wonderful experience at Island cremation with my father-in-law’s funeral. We had three meetings before the ceremony even started to make sure that everything was going to be done properly and that we’re all on the same page. Island cremation arranged for the Marines to come and do a flag honor ceremony that was an excellent touch and made the whole ceremony very memorable. The funeral home was very clean and they even had masks and hand sanitizer set out. They helped setting up our food plus supplied some of their own. Very professional and highly recommended.

I had a Celebration of Life for my husband on his birthday last Friday.

Island Cremations helped me plan for the Funeral. They have been like family. I even brought my husband’s miniature poodle.

Dillon, Mike & Dawn helped me set up and clean up. We brought in food and drinks. I had a soft jazz CD playing in the rooms. The alter had my husband’s Dolphin Urn and flowers. His picture with him holding a 52 pound Dolphin was on a projector screen above the alter.

Pastor Babington did a wonderful sermon. The family & friends spoke of memorial times.

We all thank you for your kindness and warmth for this Celebration of Life for my husband.
