Barbara June Bianco

February 1, 1938 – April 26, 2024

Barbara June Bianco 86, departed this life and was placed in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on Friday April 26, 2024. A celebration of life will be conducted Saturday May 11, 2024 at 11 am at the Christian Church at Palm Shores, 4580 N US Highway 1, Melbourne, FL 32935.

Born in Stokes, North Carolina, June was the daughter of the late Hazel and Fae Bullock. She was preceded in death by her dear husband Frank Bianco, sister Gail Crisp of Stokes, NC, and brother Dwight Bullock of Bailey, NC.

In 1966 after several early years in Las Cruces, New Mexico, the burgeoning space program required June and her young family to move to Merritt Island, Florida where she created a loving home, became involved in her community, and lived the remainder of her life. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Merritt Island where she was the organist and pianist for nearly 30 years.

After many years as a homemaker, June entered the workforce working for the Brevard County School Board for over 20 years. Retiring as Supervisor of Word Processing, she was greatly appreciated for her gentle mentoring and coordination skills. In addition to her love of music, June was a very talented and creative individual counting oil painting and flower arranging among her hobbies.

She is survived by the love of her life and best friend Ken Hardison of Merritt Island, FL; son Chuck Hardison and wife Jodi of Merritt Island, FL; daughter Kendra Eddings and husband, Bart of Snellville, GA.

She has 6 grandchildren: Stephen Eddings (Amber), Gregory Eddings (Cierra), Robin Eddings, Haille Olsen (Garrett), Sydney DeWitt (Adam), and Sarah Rose Eddings.

She has nephews Trent Bullock (Sara), Cameron Crisp (Sherry), Bobby Drapala (Christy) and nieces Corie Millis (David) and Trina Torres.

She has 9 great grandchildren Mason, Daniel, Amanda, Seth, James, Ian, Layla, McKenzie and Brooklynn.
