A formal military ceremony will be performed at Arlington National Cemetery at a later
date. There will also be a celebration of life in Brevard County, FL, and a beach remembrance on Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas, both dates to be determined.

Anthony R. Bartleson, age 69, formerly of Marathon, Fl, passed away peacefully, Sunday March 1, 2020, in Lake Nona – Orlando, Fl. Anthony graduated with an electrical engineering degree from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA, where he lettered in both wrestling and football. He served honorably as a United States combat Marine in Vietnam. His service included duty on Hill 881 during the historic battle in the siege at Khe Sanh.
In addition to working as an electrical engineer, Anthony diversified his career to include land and real estate development in the U.S. and the Bahamas. He was an avid sailor and in his later career moved to the Florida Keys and opened and operated, alongside his wife, a successful marine electronics business, while living aboard their sailing yacht. He also contributed to
his community through his services as a coach for the Marathon High School football team.
Throughout his life, Anthony utilized his strong beliefs in civil rights and liberties to promote equality through community activism and engagement. He was an active director and founding member of Village Voices, an organization that raises awareness about the impacts and importance of voting.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carol M. Tabellione Bartleson; his sister, Karen Bartleson Harnish; his brother, Brett Bartleson; preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Ernest Bartleson.
