On March 20, 2024, Anthony Michael Sasgen Jr. peacefully passed away surrounded by family. He joins his late parents, Anthony and Anna Sasgen and Son, Paul M. Sasgen in Eternal Life.

Tony was a long-time resident of Merritt Island FL, born and raised in River Forest, Illinois. He served four years in the United States Marine Corps, graduated from Quincy College and was proud owner and President of Grand Specialties Co. started by his paternal grandfather in 1921.

He is remembered by his loving partner Molly Huck, son Anthony M. Sasgen Ill and wife Robyn, grandchildren Bailey Angelina and Cooper Michael, and sister Claire Buffardi. He was a genuine dad and grandpa to seven stepchildren, sixteen step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, brother-in-law to Jim Maffia and uncle to eleven loving nieces and nephews.

Tony was so much to so many people, a loving spouse, father, super grandpa, uncle, brother, coach, and good friend. He enjoyed many days of hiking, skiing and family summers boating on the lake. He had an extraordinary love of reading and was never far from a hardy laugh. He valued, above all else, life experiences and relationship with family, friends and neighbors.
