Jan Jenkins, 63, passed away on March 21, 2026, in Merritt Island, Florida. Born on December 12, 1961, in Linden, Texas, to JoJo & Jerry Kingston. Jan lived a life filled with creativity, love, and joy.

Jan was a talented and artistic individual who channeled her creativity into a successful silk-screening business. She had a passion for designing unique shirts and outfits that reflected her vibrant personality. Her entrepreneurial spirit extended to working alongside her husband in their family machine shop, where their partnership flourished both personally and professionally.

A fun-loving soul with an adventurous spirit, Jan cherished riding Harleys with her husband Steve. Together, they shared countless memorable journeys that celebrated their love for life and each other. Jan also had a remarkable talent for transforming her house into a beautiful home—a reflection of her artistic vision and caring nature.

Those who knew Jan will remember her as a loving, generous, and compassionate person who brought warmth and light to every space she entered. Her creative soul and zest for life left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Jan is survived by her husband Steve. Also, siblings Judy, Joe Paul; In-laws, Drew, Lynne, & Barbara; children Lance and Erik; Step-children Steven, Jessica and Emily and 11 grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered by many friends.

May Jan’s memory bring comfort to those who loved her and inspire others to embrace life with the same passion and kindness she so effortlessly embodied.

A celebration of life is being held at the Sunset Cafe’ Waterfront Bar and Grill in Cocoa Beach. April 8th from 5-7.
