Arthur “Larry” Dean, 72, passed away on January 9, 2026, in Cocoa, Florida. Born on January 15, 1953, in Raleigh, North Carolina, Larry embraced life with a deep appreciation for its simple joys and the people he held dear.

Larry was the beloved husband of Rosa Dean. His sons and daughters-in law, Alan and Ann Plowman and Lee and Chris Plowman and their families have many cherished memories of good times. His grandchildren, Christopher, Leslie, and Brody Plowman gave him joy, love and laughs. Larry also loved spending time with his three great-grandchildren, Noah, Lincoln and Kennedy. He was loved by his siblings Bonnie, Jonnie, Charlie and Gayle. His parents were Arthur and Clara Dean, now deceased.

Larry’s passions reflected his rebel spirit. He craved the freedom of riding his Harley on the open road. He was a loyal member of the Moose Rider Club at the Moose Lodge in Coca. He loved his pets—dogs, cats, birds, even raccoons—each one as spirited as he was. Those who knew him have very vivid memories of unique pets.

Larry will be remembered as fiercely loyal—a steady presence who stood by those he cared for with unwavering dedication. His steady dependability left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to cross his path.

May his memory bring smiles, love and comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire love and loyalty in the lives he touched.
