The funeral service will be held at the Church of Our Saviour Catholic Church in Cocoa Beach on 15 March at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at 2:30 pm at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims. Masks are required for both. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in the name of John David Brown to the Ronald McDonald House Charities, Inc, 2635 Network Place, Chicago, IL 60673-1263.

John David Brown, 91, surrounded by family, passed peacefully on January 10, 2021, at his home in Cocoa Beach, Florida. He was born 2 August 1929 in Washington, DC, to Harold W. Brown and Ellen C. Mahoney Brown.
As a teen, John loved playing basketball and football, and continued playing basketball in college and with the military. He served with the U.S. Air Force for four years as a Senior Camera Repairman maintaining and repairing photo equipment for military aircraft. He then worked with the U.S. Government in France and Germany for over 20 years in Supply and Logistics. John enjoyed traveling, restoring furniture, collecting antiques, buying and selling at the Flea Markets, and playing Yam with family members. A humble and selfless person, John Brown had a forgiving and generous spirit, and was eager to find the good in everyone and every circumstance. His infectious smile and playful laughter will always remind us to be young at heart.
John was preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph Brown, Harold W. Brown and William M. Brown; sister, Elizabeth Blick; and loved ones, Jeanne E. Coleman and Sylvie M. Brown-Balagna.
He is survived by his sister, Alta M. (& David) Reumont; two daughters, Debra E. Joas and Caroline P. Hinton; three sons, Patrick W. (&Sylvie) Brown, Danny S.(& Martine) Brown, and Francis M.(& Astrig) Brown; loved one, Jeannette Djaloyan; thirteen grandchildren, Lisa, Mark, Matthieu, Vivien, Hugo, Arthur, Remi, Thomas, Karine, Taline, Maxime, and Adagia; ten great grandchildren, Alyssa, Mikayla, Spencer, Louna, Lily, Milo, Leone, Havanna, Thelma and Camelia; and numerous close family and friends.
