William (Bill) Giancola, 74, of Merritt Island, FL, passed away on Sunday May 1, 2022 at his home.

Born in West Chester, PA, April 18, 1948. Son of the late Biagio (Blaise “Bennie”) and Charlotte Giancola. He is survived by his spouse, Debra Giancola, his son, Steven Giancola, his daughter, Veronica Magnuson (Clay Magnuson) and two grandsons, Oliver and Conrad Magnuson. He is also survived by his brothers, Joseph, James, Robert, and Frank Giancola, their spouses, and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Bill was also a lover of animals and was predeceased by his beloved cat of 17 years, Bubbles, and his Pomeranian, Auggie, and is presently survived by his chocolate lab, Cocoa.

Bill graduated from West Chester College in Pennsylvania. He moved to Florida in 1975, where he worked proudly as an Aerospace Design Engineer at the Kennedy Space Center for 46 years.

Bill had a great love for his family and would be described as a ray of light and was always the life of the party. He was happy, loud, goofy, silly, and was ready and waiting to make you laugh with a joke.

He loved to fish, either at the beach, the river, off the Jetty, or his favorite hot spot at Sebastian Inlet.

Bill had a love for photography. Never without his camera or video camera, Bill was always ready to capture the moment and make a memory.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

“Gone, yet not forgotten, although we are apart, your spirit lives within me, forever in my heart.”

A memorial service will be held on Saturday May 28th at 1pm at Church of Our Saviour 5301 N. Atlantic Ave, Cocoa Beach, FL. 32931.    Interment will be private.
