I was saddened to hear of the passing of my colleague and friend recently. Wade exemplified the word gentleman and he was always willing, ready, and able to help out with any task at hand. We worked a few cases together and had an impact due to Wade‘s diligence and perseverance in conducting criminal investigations. Sincere condolences to Brenda and Wade’s entire family for their loss.

I entered the AFROTC program at Memphis in the Fall of 1987. As an upperclassman, Wade was always so nice to me and taught me a lot. It probably helped we both shared the same major--LOL. Later during his first assignment at Acker (Blytheville) AFB he invited me to drive up and spend a day with him, showed me around the base, and gave me some insight as to some of the cases he was working. He was salt of the Earth. As it happens, we'd lost touch over the years, but I always have fond memories and the utmost respect for Wade. Rest in peace, amigo and power & prayers to his entire family and other friends.

Wade was one of the nicest, kindest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with! It was a great honor working with him down in Panama! I will miss you PJ1…

A terrific officer and patriot. One of my best friends. My roommate for a time in college. We kept in touch loosely over the years and re-connected in 2021; and I was coaching Wade on transitioning from military and government service, towards whatever adventure might be his next chapter. We enjoyed several long phone conversations and I'm so very glad we talked. He loved Brenda and Sydney fiercely and was incredibly proud of them. Wade was good to his friends, passionate about life and his country, and remarkably respected. This was truly a good man. You are missed, my friend.

Wade was a fellow AFOSI and NASA OIG Special Agent; a true professional, who could be counted on to apply his expertise, drive, and integrity to move every case forward to fruition. He was also a good and trustworthy friend, whom others could count on for support. I will miss you, my friend. May God grant your family peace and comfort during this difficult time.

Dear Brenda and family, I was so very sorry to hear of Wades passing. He came to Florida to say goodbye to my father Jerry Fisher about six years ago after his cancer diagnosis. I thought the world of Wade for making that trip and my father appreciated it so very much. Please know I will carry Wade in my heart as long as I live and you and your family will be in my prayers as well. Conni

I am so sorry to hear of Wade’s passing. We grew up together at Longstreet UMC. He was always destined to be a mighty man. I’ve followed him through the years and been so proud to have been a part of his life even just for those early years. You all are in my heart and prayers. Please know that Wade was a true American Hero and quite simply a good man! Bless you all!
