Timothy Michael Maksymik, 76, of Cocoa Beach, FL, passed away peacefully on January 1st, 2025, with his daughter, Hannah, at his side. Born to John and Genevieve Maksymik, Tim was the third of four children, joining his siblings Lucille, Virginia, and Samuel. He is survived by his sister, Ginny.

Tim (Denise, mother of his children) was a great father to: Katie, Joshua (Michelle), Jonathan (Roxanne), and Hannah. He was also a proud grandfather to Dominic (decd.), Elliott, and Miles.

Tim remarried (Linda) but in the end remained free; an old hippie beach bum.

Tim’s life was marked by his dedication to family and work. A skilled craftsman, he taught welding in a vocational program at the Wyoming Correctional Facility, helping many to gain valuable skills. He enjoyed carpentry, helping others and sailing; always staying busy and hands-on with his craft. A man of diverse interests, he was passionate about music, and never shied away from discussing the unpredictable journey of life.

His wit, wisdom, and free-spirited nature made him a joy to be around, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
