Thomas Lee Keller
January 13, 1948 – December 1, 2024

Thomas Lee Keller, 76, of Cocoa, Florida, passed away suddenly at home on December 1, 2024. He was born on January 13, 1948, to Evelyn Ann Orr and Robert Henry Keller.
Thomas is survived by his son, Christopher Scott Wilson, and his wife Michelle, along with the mother of his son, Debra Tillinger. He leaves behind two grandchildren, Brianna and Joseph, and one great-granddaughter. He will be greatly missed by his bonus children, Benjamin (Sara) and Emily (Sean), as well as his two brothers, Robert (Marilee) and Dan (Barb), one sister, Dianne, and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Thomas earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Michigan University, along with two associate degrees and certifications in legal assisting and automotive mechanics. He also pursued pilot training in 1977. His professional career included working as a golf course superintendent in Marquette, MI, where he combined his love for nature and precision in the management of the course.
In his free time, Thomas enjoyed working on cars, biking, dirt biking, snowmobiling, playing guitar, golfing, and watching football and hockey. Known for his sharp wit and great sense of humor, Thomas was a beloved figure who brought joy to everyone around him.
Thomas’s family will always treasure his jokes, wisdom, and lively personality. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

My husband was an Army Veteran and they draped him with the American Flag as they were removing him from VITAS Hospice. We just had a wonderful experience at Island cremation with my father-in-law’s funeral. We had three meetings before the ceremony even started to make sure that everything was going to be done properly and that we’re all on the same page. Island cremation arranged for the Marines to come and do a flag honor ceremony that was an excellent touch and made the whole ceremony very memorable. The funeral home was very clean and they even had masks and hand sanitizer set out. They helped setting up our food plus supplied some of their own. Very professional and highly recommended.

I had a Celebration of Life for my husband on his birthday last Friday.

Island Cremations helped me plan for the Funeral. They have been like family. I even brought my husband’s miniature poodle.

Dillon, Mike & Dawn helped me set up and clean up. We brought in food and drinks. I had a soft jazz CD playing in the rooms. The alter had my husband’s Dolphin Urn and flowers. His picture with him holding a 52 pound Dolphin was on a projector screen above the alter.

Pastor Babington did a wonderful sermon. The family & friends spoke of memorial times.

We all thank you for your kindness and warmth for this Celebration of Life for my husband.
