Survived by his sister Shawnna and Nieces Ashley, Sydney, and Kiersten. His brother Brawn and nieces Gabriella, Julia, and nephew Pierson. His sister Samantha, brother-in-law Daniel and nephews Bray, Stanley, and Danny. His sister Amanda, brother-in-law Shaun, niece Isabella and nephew Liam. His Brother Mitchell, sister-in-law Jessica and nephews Oliver, Wylder, and Huxlee. His sister Autumn. His Aunt Pam. Also all of his chosen brothers, sisters, and extended family that he surrounded himself with everywhere he went.

Tommy lived his life how he wanted to. If he wanted to go see the redwoods, he moved to Washington. If he wanted to catch some waves, he moved to Florida. If he missed the desert, you could find him in Arizona. He was never held down and became family to so many. He went where his heart took him.

Tommy fell in love with the ocean in Florida in 1987 when he went to visit his brother Brawn. As a teenager he didn’t have any money so he cut a piece of plywood into the shape of a surfboard and spray painted “surf” all over it thinking he could surf with it. From that point he always went back to Florida. It was his true home.

Tommy had many jobs but music was his true passion. He would play his guitar for hours and sometimes days. He has touched many lives along the way. He will always be in our hearts and memories. He is a legend, a hero, a friend, a brother, and a son and a nephew.
