A funeral service will be held at Indian River City United Methodist Church at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 26, 2022. After the service, attendees are invited to Wesley Fellowship Hall for food and fellowship to celebrate and remember Marv’s life.
Those wishing to remember Marv in a special way may make gifts in his memory to Indian River City United Methodist Church, 1355 Cheney Hwy, Titusville, FL 32780 or to Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, PO Box 5014 Hagerstown, MD 21741-5014

There are not enough kind words to describe Marv. He was a wonderful friend and blessed our lives tremendously. We had so many good times with Marv & Donna. He was definitely a family man. He was our brother in Christ and set examples for not only us but all who knew him. Marv had so many achievements in his life but yet he was very humble. He carried the pain in his heart for those who were going through difficult times and was always there with a kind word and a helping hand. His physical absence will be difficult for all of us. We pray that Donna and the family will find comfort in knowing the love that Marv had for them. We will be praying for the sadness to be replaced with all the happy memories they shared. We just had a wonderful experience at Island cremation with my father-in-law’s funeral. We had three meetings before the ceremony even started to make sure that everything was going to be done properly and that we’re all on the same page. Island cremation arranged for the Marines to come and do a flag honor ceremony that was an excellent touch and made the whole ceremony very memorable. The funeral home was very clean and they even had masks and hand sanitizer set out. They helped setting up our food plus supplied some of their own. Very professional and highly recommended.

I had a Celebration of Life for my husband on his birthday last Friday.

Island Cremations helped me plan for the Funeral. They have been like family. I even brought my husband’s miniature poodle.

Dillon, Mike & Dawn helped me set up and clean up. We brought in food and drinks. I had a soft jazz CD playing in the rooms. The alter had my husband’s Dolphin Urn and flowers. His picture with him holding a 52 pound Dolphin was on a projector screen above the alter.

Pastor Babington did a wonderful sermon. The family & friends spoke of memorial times.

We all thank you for your kindness and warmth for this Celebration of Life for my husband.
