Rufus “Marv” Mims, Jr., age 77, of Titusville, Florida passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Thursday, November 17, 2022. Born in Columbus, Georgia, Marv was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, godfather, uncle, and loyal friend.
Marv served 21 years in the United States Air Force. After spending 10 years as enlisted, he received his commission and retired as Captain. Marv was a giver who always put others first and lived out his faith every day. As Marv passes through the Gates of Heaven, surely he will hear the words: “Well done, good and faithful servant! Come and share your master’s happiness!” (NIV, Matthew 25:21)
