It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rosalie Golik on August 17th, 2025 at the age of 87. She passed peacefully at home in Cocoa Beach, FL, surrounded by her loving family.

Affectionately called Mimi by her loved ones, Rosalie is survived by her 4 children, Richard Jr., Gabrielle, Alexander, and Frederik, and their spouses; 5 grandchildren, Nicole, Danielle, Katelyn, Alyssa, and Alex Jr.; and 7 great grandchildren.

Rosalie was born in Greenpoint, NY on March 24th, 1938 to Henry and Helen Lewicki. She had one brother, Robert. Rosalie would graduate high school and marry Richard Golik in 1957. Shortly after, they moved to East Setauket, NY, where she lived, worked and raised her family. She retired from John T. Mather Memorial Hospital in 1997 and moved to Cocoa Beach, FL. She was active in her retirement, volunteering at Cape Canaveral hospital, traveling with her local church group, and spending time with her beloved dog, Lulu. She enjoyed playing cards, going to the movies, and attending live music, stand-up comedy, and wrestling. Her friendships with her neighbors were important to her. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Richard, who passed in 2016.
