Born in Newark, N.J., to the late Michael and Angelina Feravolo, loving brother to the late Michael Feravolo, Patrick Feravola, Florence Ruberto, Mary Prioli and Juliet Feravolo. Survived by his children, Michael Feravolo and Angela (Sandy) Bailey and husband Tom Bailey, and his grandchildren Vincent Bailey and Gina Nixon and husband Paul Nixon, his great grandchildren, Noel, Nora and Nico Nixon. Rocco served his country in the Army during WW 2. Rocco held a PhD. in education. He was a distinguished author of 14 science books for children that continue to be available for purchase. He retired as a principal from the school system in Morristown New Jersey. He was an Olympic fencer and was fencing coach at Drew University for many years.
