Bob passed away April 12, 2022 at Wuesthoff Hospice/inpatient after a long and painful battle with lung disease.
Born in Torrington, CT on April 20, 1930. He was predeceased by his parents-Pearl Amy Marks and Robert Harold Reynolds; Sister- Nancy Fox (Bill), his Stepfather Jacob Ruimerman and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Wesley Marsha Twyman Reynolds, his daughter Ronna (Fran), Their daughter Kate and Two Great Grandchildren; Nancy (Bill), Their daughter Michele (Pete) with two Grandnieces; He has many Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles in Fl, KY, MN, CT and TX and a very special childhood friend Dave Bauer, in Ohio.

Outdoors was Bob’s world. He worked in the auto business off and on for many years in CT and FL to the Bahamas, Caribbean, Cuba and Puerto Rico. Bob Excelled in all facets of a dealer management. Upon returning to Florida from the Bahamas he invested in a pet shop called ” The Electric Zoo” in Coconut Grove, FL. They acquired and loved a Woolly Monkey for 17 years. Left Miami to build on 5 acres in Crystal River, FL, Bob with his Love of Orchids, built several large greenhouses, started a extremely successful orchid business “Greenleaf Orchids”. Bob began Cloning crosses he made that resulted in many awards winning plants that still exist today.

After many years in the Orchid business, we went back to CT, the Northwest corner, Sharon, Salisbury and Limerock and resumed his love for Fly fishing and fly tying, rod building, sport cars. Bob Started a three day, on stream, all inclusive fly fishing course that was very popular and successful and was recognized by a fly shop owner as “the best guide on the river”. After 15 years he succumbed to fusion of his back, this ending a lot of fly fishing.

Went back to Florida and indulged many interests, avid readers, music lovers-Jazz and Classical and fishing. Met again a famous musicians, authors, artists who bestowed credits on liner notes that were well deserved. His ubiquietis smile and demeanor brought joy to all that knew and loved him.

Service at Island Cremations Funeral Home 405 S. Courtenay Parkway, Merritt island, FL 32952. Celebration of life held on May 25, 2022 and will be from 1-3 calling hours and 3pm service.
