Richard “Rick” Scheuch died unexpectedly in Rockledge, Florida on July 4, 2021 at the age of
73. Rick is survived by his wife Julia Scheuch; Children Ricki and Jeff Rayfield, Laura and
Brandon Pittman; Anthony Miller and children; Angela Coffman and children; Grandchildren
Alex, Josh, Jakob, Kiyarra and Lacey; Siblings Gwen DiBiase and Stacey McDonald. He is
preceded by his parents Louis and Josephine Scheuch. Rick was born in Bethesda, Maryland
to Louis and Josephine Scheuch. He was married to the love of his life Julia Smink in 1972.
Rick worked as a contractor and spent many years working for Tomp Construction as well as
being self employed. The couple shared 2 children into their home. Rick set out teaching them
the word of God and set an example of God’s love. His children remember him as a loving and
present father and Papa who could make anyone laugh. Rick was a talented musician and
could often be found singing at church and with family.
A funeral is scheduled for 2 pm at Rockledge Christian Center with a time to offer condolences
to the family from 1-2 pm preceding the service. All are welcome to attend this celebration of
life.
