Myrna Emerson – 88
Passed away peacefully on September 8, where she lived for three years with her loving daughter, Susan, and son-in-law Bill, in Port St. John, Florida.
She was born in Brooklyn, NY, and as a young woman, she was a dance instructor at Arthur Murray’s Dance Studio where she met the man of her dreams, fell in love and got married. Boy, did they dance well together!
She spent many years living in Ocean Woods in Cape Canaveral, where she was happily involved with the landscaping of her neighborhood and the social committee, keeping neighbors involved with fun loving parties and fundraisers to keep up the beauty of their surroundings. Living so close to the beach, she loved her morning walks along the shoreline with her close friends where they enjoyed their morning coffee at Jetty Park.
She was also multi-talented with oil and watercolor painting, stained glass, sewing decorating, and basically anything she put her hand to. Lucky for us she passed those qualities down to her children and instilled in us that we could do anything we put our mind to. Family boardgames and sing-alongs were always a fun day!
She was a wonderful and beautiful woman, and although she is gone, she will never be forgotten.

Linda Emerson, Richard Emerson Jr., Susan McCormick and Daniel Emerson. Also two grandchildren, Adam and Jill Steinhauser and two great grandchildren- Kaia and Adam (AJ) Steinhauser.
