In loving memory of Mark R. Kurzen who went to his eternal home with Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior to rest forevermore on April 11, 2024.
Mark was born to James and Crissie Kurzen on August 26, 1947, in Akron, Ohio. Mark followed in the footsteps of his father with his passion for drag racing and most things automotive-related.
Mark was serving in the US Air Force when he met his wife, Barbara in September 1968 and they married on December 25, 1968. A marriage that would last 55 years. Mark and Barbara were blessed with one son, Bob. He was a proud Pawpaw to two grandchildren Reed and Kayman.
First and foremost, Mark was a loyal servant to God. He loved the church and had a passion for sharing the warmth of our savior, Jesus Christ, with as many people as possible. He was a member of Auburn Pentecostal Church in Crestview, Florida.
Mark joins his parents, James and Crissie, and his brother, Paul in Heaven. He is survived by his wife, Barbara, his son Bob (Gwen), and his grandchildren Reed and Kayman. No services will be held at this time and the family requests no donations or flowers be sent.
Mark, you are now at peace, but you will live on forever in our hearts. We love you so much. Rest in peace.
