Age 83, died Maundy Thursday at 9:30 pm April 14, 2022. Pete died at Hospice of St. Frances in Titusville, FL with his wife Phillis lying next to him saying his prayers, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Pete was born on September 23rd 1938 in Sandusky Ohio to Helen & Andrew Hemmer. He and his wife Phillis reside in their Titusville home with their 2 dogs. After graduating high school, Pete joined the United States Air Force, then had a career with Ford Motor Company, and retired after 36 years with them. His free time was spent riding his Harley and playing pool.

Pete was survived by his second wife Phillis Hemmer, after losing his first wife Amelia Hemmer 6/17/1999. He is survived by 5 children – Amy (David) Eissler, Andrea (Gary) Yun, Chrissy (Paul) Hedtke, Carrie Seidel, and Mark Gariepy, 12 great grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, 2 siblings – his brother Melvin (Donna) Hemmer and sister Patricia Aceto and several nieces and nephews. Pete was also survived by his 2nd wife Phillis’ parents Joyce (Bob) Hubbell.
