Kelly Raymond Pizzuti

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beautiful daughter Kelly on October 28, just shy of her 35th birthday. She was such a bright light in the world and brought us so much joy. She was born November 3, 1989 in Tampa, Fl and grew up in the Valrico, Fl area.
She attended Nativity Catholic School and graduated from Newsome High School with high honors. She attended FSU where she achieved an undergraduate and Master’s degree in Marketing. She was an active member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority.
She married Jarad Pizzuti, February 2, 2018 and they resided in the Orlando area. Kelly had a very adventurous spirit and enjoyed spending time outdoors. Some of her passions included golf, tennis, skiing, target shooting, and skydiving. She especially loved to spend time with her husband and friends on their ATVs and boat. She also enjoyed playing the piano in her alone time. She truly lived life to the fullest.
She is survived by her husband Jarad Pizzuti from Longwood, FL; parents Cindy and Randy Raymond from Valrico, FL; sister Kate (Logan) Runyan from Burnsville, MN; in-laws Kristin and Steve Pizzuti of Sanford, FL; sister-in-law Cierra (Carl) Ellison from Fayetteville, NC; nieces and nephews, and many other close friends who loved her.

My husband was an Army Veteran and they draped him with the American Flag as they were removing him from VITAS Hospice. We just had a wonderful experience at Island cremation with my father-in-law’s funeral. We had three meetings before the ceremony even started to make sure that everything was going to be done properly and that we’re all on the same page. Island cremation arranged for the Marines to come and do a flag honor ceremony that was an excellent touch and made the whole ceremony very memorable. The funeral home was very clean and they even had masks and hand sanitizer set out. They helped setting up our food plus supplied some of their own. Very professional and highly recommended.

I had a Celebration of Life for my husband on his birthday last Friday.

Island Cremations helped me plan for the Funeral. They have been like family. I even brought my husband’s miniature poodle.

Dillon, Mike & Dawn helped me set up and clean up. We brought in food and drinks. I had a soft jazz CD playing in the rooms. The alter had my husband’s Dolphin Urn and flowers. His picture with him holding a 52 pound Dolphin was on a projector screen above the alter.

Pastor Babington did a wonderful sermon. The family & friends spoke of memorial times.

We all thank you for your kindness and warmth for this Celebration of Life for my husband.
