“Mr. Joe” as he was best known

Born April 16, 1946

Suddenly and sadly Joe passed away on Friday, July 10, 2015. He was born April 16, 1946 in Rochester, New York. Joe joined the United States Marine Corps and went on to serve our Country. He fought on the front lines of the Vietnam War and finished as a Corporal.

Upon returning home he met his soon to be wife Ann DeMaria and have been married for 46 years. Together they ran Miss Ann’s childcare for nearly 35 years. Mr. Joe was amazing to all the children and their families. He will be sorely missed by everyone.

He was preceded in death by his parents Mario DeMaria and Rose Polito DeMaria and his beautiful daughter Rosalie DeMaria.

He is survived by his loving wife Ann DeMaria, Daughter Angela Dale and grandchildren Tim Dale, Anthony, Paul, Joey and Sebastian Lento who will all miss special times with their Grandpa.

He is also survived by his sister Carol Wood of Rodchester, New York.

He always stayed true to the code, “Once a Marine, always a Marine!”

Viewing will be on Friday, July 17, 2015  from 4pm-8pm at the Island Cremations funeral home 405 S. Courtenay Parkway Merritt Island, FL 32952.

Following on Saturday, July 18, 2015 a celebration of life from 11am-3pm at the Veterans Memorial Center located at 400 S. Sykes Creek Pkwy, Merritt Island, Florida 32952. A Memorial Service will be conducted by the United States Marines.
